Root Family in Autumn

On a very windy day in October, I had the wonderful joy of taking family pictures for one of my most dearest and longest known friends. Nearly 20 years ago, I met Beth in our first grade classroom. Now, she has her own 5 year old, the handsome Landen James as well as a beautiful daughter, Genavieve Marie as well as her wonderful husband Michael :D This happy family had a blast as we moved from park to park and I had just as much fun capturing it all. Kurt & Latina Lockwood Wedding

 

Oh my! It's taken me quite some time to getting around to another posting here! Hello again everyone!

Last June, I had the great opportunity to photograph another wedding. This time, it was for family :D

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day which turned out some GORGEOUS pictures!

A Momma To Be!

On a chilly day in February here in the heart of Michigan, I bundled up in layers and headed out to the home of two of my dearest friends. Jeffrey and Devin are expecting their first child at any time in the next couple of weeks. Before she delivers their son to the world, this awesome couple and their family wanted to make sure they had photographs of Devin while she is still pregnant. Of course, I was excited about this and what better time than near full pregnancy to do it?

Thus, the three of us bundled up, made a few stops throughout the day and here is just a bit of
the fun we shared!























Very soon, Jeff and Devin's little man will grace us and then, I'll get to share him with you too!!! Good luck, Devin and Jeff! I cannot wait to see how much of a hassle the little man is going to give you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stimson-Stone Wedding

On a beautiful day in June of 2009, I had the opportunity to photograph another wedding. A dear friend I have known since we were both fourteen called me to tell me she was getting married and even though it was short notice, could I take the wedding photographs?

With happiness in my heart for my friend and excitement for another shot at honing my passion, I agreed.

With little time to prepare, I made a trip the week before the wedding out to the park where the wedding would take place to get a general idea of what I had to work with for background. The area they chose could not have been more perfect for an outdoor wedding and I was thrilled to take pictures with such open space, giving the couple all of the attention in every click!
