Awaiting Annabelle Kay Jessup!

Nearly ten years ago, I watched my best friend fall in love. The guy she met seemed pretty awesome and over the past decade, he has become someone I cherish in my life as a brother as much as I love her as a sister.
All that time later, and the two of them still hold hands when they're anywhere together and look at each other and smile and leave me with the warmest feeling of respect and admiration for both of them.

Now, they're expecting their first child, a daughter, to be named Annabelle Kay. I cannot express how excited I am for the two of them. Listening to them talk about the child they haven't met yet with so much love and excitement... it's just heart-warming and wonderful. I had the joy of capturing much of that warmth on a beautiful Sunday afternoon:  Here are just a few of those pictures. :)

A Momma To Be!

On a chilly day in February here in the heart of Michigan, I bundled up in layers and headed out to the home of two of my dearest friends. Jeffrey and Devin are expecting their first child at any time in the next couple of weeks. Before she delivers their son to the world, this awesome couple and their family wanted to make sure they had photographs of Devin while she is still pregnant. Of course, I was excited about this and what better time than near full pregnancy to do it?

Thus, the three of us bundled up, made a few stops throughout the day and here is just a bit of
the fun we shared!























Very soon, Jeff and Devin's little man will grace us and then, I'll get to share him with you too!!! Good luck, Devin and Jeff! I cannot wait to see how much of a hassle the little man is going to give you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
