Thrush-Jessup Family Pictures

Just over seven months ago, the absolute greatest thing in the world happened to me; I became an aunt. This wonderful, sweet, giggly little stubborn butt girl has filled my heart with solid joy from the night she was born.

Now, she's seven months old, getting closer and closer to crawling every day and bringing sheer joy to everyone in her life just by existing.

Yesterday, I spent a couple of beautiful summer hours taking pictures of her and her parents. This was a two-part shoot, because when we tried at the six month mark, little miss Annabelle was being quite the grumpypants. Yesterday was a different story.

My Cousin & her family

Just down the street from my house, there is a man in my small town who enjoys offering us something beautiful. Every few years, he grows Sunflowers in the field he owns and it makes for a gorgeous view on the drive through town.

On a gorgeous summer day when these flowers were in full bloom, I spent the day with my cousin Jessica and her family, snapping pictures and enjoying my time with she and her boyfriend Matt's two beautiful daughters, Zoe & Kairi. I love this extension of my family so much and these little girls never cease to make me smile.

Root Family in Autumn

On a very windy day in October, I had the wonderful joy of taking family pictures for one of my most dearest and longest known friends. Nearly 20 years ago, I met Beth in our first grade classroom. Now, she has her own 5 year old, the handsome Landen James as well as a beautiful daughter, Genavieve Marie as well as her wonderful husband Michael :D This happy family had a blast as we moved from park to park and I had just as much fun capturing it all.
